BigGig takes Huggies on the Road

Experiential marketing company BiG GiG has been appointed by Kimberly Clark brand Huggies for a major experiential campaign running to October 2010.

Following a trial last year, BiG GiG will build and manage a series of Huggies Lounges in major shopping centres across Australia. The Huggies Lounge creates a live experience for children and their parents, including entertainment for kids and practical child care information for parents.

The Huggies Lounges will offer a wide variety of information for parents. The experiential events feature multi-media displays, live appearances by some of Australia’s premier child-care experts and static information and product displays. The intended result is that both parents and children are engaged in a unique environment for children and toddlers.

“The campaign links the touring Huggies Lounges and the online information on the Huggies website,” said BiG GiG director of client services Angelina Hasouros.

“Because of demands on parents’ time, people are often online at irregular hours looking for information about parenting on topics like nutrition, literacy, or names for babies. The Huggies Lounges will bring the online information alive, and conversely, the experiential events will encourage people to go online for tips and solutions. It’s a totally integrated brand solution,” said Hasouros.

The BiG GiG campaign for Huggies will be located in high-traffic areas of major retail centres and information on the location of the Huggies Lounges will be available on the brand’s website.
